Flashback Friday tune of the week is by Gorillaz ft. Little Dragon Empire Ants. From the third Gorillaz studio album, Plastic Beach which was released in 2010. The album features artists such as Snoop Dog, Kano, Mos Def, De La Soul and the late Bobby Womack and Lou Reed.
Even though it’s eight years old to me the sound hasn’t dated. I love the hunting melody along with Damon Albarn and Yukimi Nagano’s vocals as well as the 80’s inspired synths.
